Wolfeboro Historical Society Postcard Archive
Welcome to the WHS Postcard Collection. Most cards are from the early to mid-1900's, with a few newer ones. Dates are estimated when possible, but may be inaccurate as many of the cards were published for many years and by different retailers. The date estimates consider content, format, postmark, stamp cost, publisher, retailer and general appearance. Some cards have a penciled 5 cents in the stamp area; this was the selling price, equivalent to $1.50 today. Hand coloring was used until the late 1930's, so some cards show different and inaccurate building colors.
Use the circular arrow button to switch between the front and back of a card.
