Shallow area of Lake Wentworth, showing ledges. Not sure where this is taken. The lake has many areas where ledges are near the surface, and some are exposed only in times of low water, or man-made drawdowns to allow dock repairs in the fall. Experienced boatsmen carry spare shear pins, and many have experienced propeller damage or worse. But, the fishing is good.
