The Pinkham Farm on South Main St., c. early 1900's, was a guest house owned by and operated by William F. Pinkham and his son, Charles Forsaith Pinkham. Originally the Coffin Farm, then the Furber Farm, later names were Hotel Prescott, King's Hill Inn and General Wolfe Inn. It is now the Windrifter Resort, next to the Kingswood Golf Club. Considerable expansion has occurred over the years.
