L-R, Samuel Burton, John Vanderpool, Luther Elliot and Isaac Albee. John Vanderpool was presented with the Boston Post Cane by the Wolfeboro Selectmen, as the oldest resident in the town. Oct. 5, 1951. John was 93 (born in 1858), died on July 3, 1957, just short of his 99th birthday.
