Wolfeboro Historical Society Digital Archive Road Trips State Historic Markers

This State Marker is on Route 16 north of Chocorua Village, near the north shore of Chocorua Lake. Mount Chocorua is north of the lake and is a popular hiking site with a rocky top and clear views in all directions. Even though its height is only 3490 feet, the trail is rugged and the climb requires adequate preparation and gear.
