This view comes from a photo taken from the tower on Town Hall. looking west. The two houses in the foreground are now the site of the supermarket and drugstore. The mansard-roofed building in the center is the Glendon House, later the Hotel Elmwood, then Hobbs-Is-Inn, now the site of of the Post Office. The building left of the hotel, and one block further, is the Bank Building. North Main St. runs diagonally up to the right, with the spire of the First Christian Church in the center background. C. early 1900's. Postcard is dated 1913.
