Goose Corner was the area around the junction of North Main Street and Waumbeck Road. In the early days, with poor and inconsistent roads, several self-sufficient communities were established. Most remnants of these communities have disappeared over time. Notice the interesting contrast of the horse-drawn buggy and the early car raising a cloud of dust. Early 1900's.
