Stamp Act Island in Lake Wentworth, taken from Point Breeze off Pleasant Valley Road. The largest island in the Lake at 99 acres, with a name derived from the unfair taxation of the British Stamp Act, it became a Nature Conservancy in 1978. Card is c. 1940.
