Birchmont Camp is a large facility on the eastern end of Lake Wentworth off Gov. Wentworth Hwy.. Family oriented, with many cabins and tents, this name was used from 1920's to 1951. The owners issued hundreds of postcards for advertising and communications. WHS files contain an entire album of those. The next few postcards are a sample. From 1907-1920's, the camp was Camp Birchmont, for girls only, and from 1951 to today, it is called Pierce Camp Birchmont, which has evolved into a children's camp. This aerial view shows the property grounds from the slopes of Mt. Delight to the shore of Lake Wentworth.
