The Carr House was built as a residence in 1812 by Nathaniel Rogers, first used as a guest house called the Copper Kettle in 1931, then the Carr House in 1936, and became the Wolfeboro Inn in 1959. Located at the corner of North Main Street and Sewall Road. Note the unusual 1 1/2 cent Martha Washington stamp, issued only in 1938.
