Wolfeboro Historical Society Digital Archive Postcard Archive Hotels, Inns and Resorts

Glen Cottage on Center Street opened as a guest house in the 1870's. The capacity was as many as 50 guests. In 1927, the name was changed to Wolfeboro Tavern. In 1961, the building was torn down, and the Wolfeboro National Bank building was constructed. Later the site of Citizens Bank, the property is now owned by Brewster Academy. Card is early 1900's.
