This view is taken from the hills near North Main Street. The smokestack on the right seens to be at the Varney Tannery on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee at Endicott Street. The Town Hall tower is near the center. The smokestack in left center is at the Berry Mill and the background buildings toward the left are Wolfeboro Falls, along Center Street. C. early 1900's, as the Tannery was replaced about 1907.
