This building on Factory Street (now Lehner Street) was built in 1895 by Greenleaf B. Clark and other investors and occupied by the C.K. Fox Shoe Factory from 1903 to 1923. The top two floors were removed in 1982 and the Sanel Auto Parts store was there. The view is from the Community Center toward Center Street, early 1900's. Note that Fox is misspelled and the "e" is omitted in Wolfeboro. The building was also known as the Clark Shop or "little factory", a comparison to the Bell Shop or "big factory" which was located on the street closer to Glendon Street.
