Looking across the original Back Bay (now Foss Field) at Factory Street, now Lehner Street, the large C.K. Fox Shoe Factory is in the center. In front of it is the original Wolfeboro Center Meeting House. Originally located near the junction of North Line Road and Center Street, Greenleaf B. Clark relocated it her. The building with the cupola is the Wolfeeboro & Tuftonboro Academy (2 blocks back), the Brewster Memorial Hall is back on the right and the smokestack on the right is among the ruins of the large shoe factory, known as the Bell Shop, which burned down in 1887; the building was soon rebuilt, but doesn't show in this photo. Card is c. 1900.
